John Cox received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University in 1971 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1973. Attorney Cox is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and the Washington County Bar Association. Attorney Cox ceased the full time practice of law when he was sworn in as Mayor of Greenville, MS , on October 24, 2012. After his term expired in 2015, Mr. Cox did not seek reelection, and he currently practices with Wade Law Office, PLLC, Of Counsel.
